Leander seeks to restore mysteriously drained lake, demands answers from water district

Leander leaders unanimously approved a formal request to restore water levels at Lakewood Park and seek additional records from the water district managing the lake. The move comes more than a year after the lake dropped about four feet below its historic level and amid ongoing questions about why the change was made.
